STARVAC takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. This policy explains what data we collect on this website, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

We only collect the data we need to reply to you and support you:

• Data you send us through our forms (contact, demo request, price request): surname, first name, salon or company name, email, phone, city and the content of your message.
• Data related to our business relationship: exchanges with our teams, devices purchased, after-sales service and training requests.
• Browsing data: information collected by cookies, only with your consent for analytics and advertising cookies (see our cookie policy).

4. Who receives your data

Your data is intended for STARVAC's teams (sales, after-sales service, training and marketing). It may be shared with our technical service providers, solely for the purposes of their work: website hosting (Webflow), customer relationship management and emailing tools and, if you accept, Meta and Google for analytics and advertising cookies. We never sell your data.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some service providers (including Webflow, Google and Meta) may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: an adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

• Prospects: 3 years from your last contact with us.
• Customers: for the duration of the business relationship, then 3 years for marketing purposes.
• Accounting documents: 10 years, as required by law.
• Cookies: 13 months maximum; your consent choice is kept for 6 months.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data and to object to its processing, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to give instructions on what happens to your data after your death.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure: secure connection (HTTPS), access limited to authorised staff, and service providers bound by confidentiality obligations.
